Intra-Oral Camera

Air Abrasion - No Drills, No Needles!
Wouldn't it be great if you could have dental treatment without drills and needles? Thanks to our air abrasion system, now you can! Air abrasion is a safe method of preparing teeth for restoration using a high-speed stream of minute particles instead of a drill. Because it is so precise, air abrasion allows more conservative treatment than conventional methods, and because there is no heat or vibration as there is with drills, it is much more comfortable. In many cases, no anesthesia is required!
Chair-Side Data Entry
We’ve eliminated the need for you to stand at the front desk while we enter your clinical data. Our office is equipped with chair-side computers so we can enter your data as we work. It's faster, more accurate and more convenient for you!
Panorex
Now we can take a low-radiation X-ray of your full mouth and jaw in a single exposure without putting film in your mouth. Panorex is significantly more convenient than taking multiple X-rays using the old "bite-and-hold" technology, and it exposes patients to much less radiation.

Dr. Robert E. Garrison, Jr.
Originally from Lancaster, Dr. Garrison earned his bachelor's degree from Ohio University and his dental degree from Ohio State University. He has been a practicing dentist since 1980. His philosophy of dentistry is to make a real difference in people's lives by improving their health and appearance.
To make sure his patients receive the most up-to-date treatments available, Dr. Garrison completes an average of 50 to 60 hours of continuing education each year.
A Word from Dr. Garrison
In this day and age of people moving across the country at the drop of a hat, it is unusual that I have never really left central Ohio except for vacations. I grew up in the area of Mt. Vernon and Lancaster. I graduated from Lancaster High School and then attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. After I graduated from OU, I entered The Ohio State Dental School and finished in three years. I graduated in 1980 and went back to southeast Ohio to work for two years. At that time I moved back to Columbus and opened my office here in October 1982. We’ve been here ever since.
I am currently married with two children and the obligatory two dogs ( who, although they have regular names, usually go by doofus and dumdum) and a very big goldfish.
We have always done an excellent job of general and preventive dentistry for families, and we continue to stress this as a basic part of our practice. With a combination of our orthodontic and esthetic services, we can also make significant improvements in how people look. Many of our patients have been unhappy with their smiles for years, and they are just delighted at what we can do for them.
